The primary aim of this research initiative was to gain a profound understanding of the pivotal criteria guiding both independent and institutional investors in their decision-making processes when venturing into commodity investments. In this ever-evolving landscape, comprehending the determinants influencing these investment choices held paramount importance.

What we did

In the pursuit of these objectives, we meticulously curated a sophisticated approach. Our approach involved engaging with key decision-makers at prominent establishments, including family offices, Investment Banks, and Insurance companies. These individuals, known as Business Development Managers (BDMs), were selected for their invaluable perspectives and insights regarding the preferences and considerations driving commodity investments.

Outcome

This research endeavor culminated in the successful execution of a comprehensive set of 31 interviews conducted across the EU5. These interviews were instrumental in providing our client with an in-depth understanding of the intricate decision-making processes associated with commodity investments. The wealth of knowledge acquired enabled our client to gain a holistic grasp of this subject matter. Additionally, it sheds light on the nuanced preferences and considerations of industry leaders within the realm of commodity investment. Armed with these insights, our client is now better poised to make informed decisions and strategic moves in the dynamic field of commodity investments.
