Our Story

Insights Driven Research (IDR) was founded by Alejandro Aivar and Ali Afzal, who first met in New York while working in client service delivery at an expert network.

During their time there, they observed structural inefficiencies in the industry:

Clients were often matched with experts from existing databases rather than those best suited to their needs, due to resource constraints in client service teams.
Many organizations were locked into high-cost subscription models without consistently receiving proportional value.
Emerging or mid-market organizations frequently received less attention under traditional models.

Recognizing an opportunity to redefine industry standards, Alejandro and Ali founded IDR. True to its name, the company ensures research is guided by insight, not by availability, convenience, or rigid models.
